Set on the desirable Pentire Peninsula on the edge of Newquay, this surprisingly spacious holiday bungalow has everything needed for an idyllic coastal getaway, a short amble from two of the area’s most stunning beaches.
Recently redecorated throughout, with three double bedrooms, a modern kitchen, a large, sunny lounge, a dining room, and a conservatory this is a beautiful space to spread out and relax.
The well-established south-facing garden is a real delight for morning coffees accompanied by the sound of birdsong, BBQs, and family gatherings.
On your doorstep
The legendary Fistral Beach is a five-minute walk in one direction and the tidal Gannel Estuary two-minutes in the other.
A ten-minute walk west leads to the spectacular Pentire Headland, home to swallows and the occasional chough. Or point east across the top of the golf course for the harbour and town.
Newquay and its many cafes, restaurants, and beaches are a five-minute drive or twenty-minute walk away. We are on the South West Coast Path for longer adventures on foot.
Newquay's hidden gems
A footpath opposite the house leads straight down into the Gannel.
At high tide, this is a playground for paddleboarding and kayaking or plunging in for a refreshing dip. Once the water recedes, the estuary is visited by wading birds and walkers, with access over to Crantock village and beach.
Newquay has a plethora of great places to eat and drink, from harbourside street food to Michelin dining and everything in between.
The space
Pinecroft is arranged for family comfort. Downstairs, there is a double bedroom with a bathroom directly adjacent. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size master suite, a twin room (convertible to a king), as well as another bathroom, and an office that can also serve as a nursery. There is ample parking for two or three cars, plus wetsuit and board storage.
What sets Pinecroft apart from other Newquay town residences is its generous garden setting. After a day exploring or at the beach, the garden and southwest facing conservatory are the perfect spot for relaxing with a sundowner.
